Each step in this process moves the next one forward - beginning with an abstract idea of how to meet a users needs, and letting that drive the entire process all the way towards the increasingly more concrete final design. By setting this initial framework in a user-centric mindset, the user experience designer is able to prioritize the needs of the user while also meeting the goals of the clients and stakeholders.

The five elements breakdown of user experience has become so popular because of how it centers user experience design around just that - the experience we want the user to have. The user and the UX designer have a connection that enables this entire process and helps the designer find that creative vision that will meet the needs of the end user. As the design team approaches the more finalized product in the later stages, everything starts to come together through architectural design and UI design to make sure that the product from the business is delivered to the user in a positive experience that leaves both the user, stakeholders and the designers themselves satisfied.
