UNH Website

Featured below is a screenshot of the homepage of the UNH website. To analyze some of the color choices, we can start by looking at the use of blue. UNH has established blue as the "school color" which then causes the audience to resonate the color with UNH. The website uses blue at the top banner to display the logo, the menu icon, and the search function. The options at the bottom of the page are presented in white, to be visible with the background, yet still provide a simplistic look. Lastly, the backround image has general colors of red, green, blue, and white which grabs the attention of the user.

Apple Website

The picture below is a screenshot of the Apple homepage. This website uses white as the background, which provides a simplistic look using neutral colors. Most of the features on the page are colored in either black or white, with the smaller pictures of the products having small amounts of colors. This causes the viewers eyes to automatically go to the products, which is ideal for a commercial website.
